Our Evaporator Range

Specialized evaporator systems for diverse industrial applications

Falling Film Evaporators

Ideal for: Heat sensitive products

Concentration level can be achieved up to 45% Total Solids. Perfectly suited for concentration of Milk, Distillery effluent, fruit juices, and other heat-sensitive liquids.

  • Short residence time minimizes thermal damage
  • Low temperature operation preserves product quality
  • High heat transfer coefficient for energy efficiency
  • Suitable for medium solid concentration

Forced Recirculation Evaporator

Ideal for: Highly viscous liquids or liquids containing suspended solids

The liquid to be evaporated is heated in a tubular heater at large circulation volumes to obtain high liquid velocities. Evaporation takes place in a separator as the product is flashed down to its operating pressure.

  • High heat transfer co-efficient
  • Handles viscous and particulate-containing liquids
  • Suitable for medium to high solid concentration
  • Robust design for continuous operation

Scrapped Surface Evaporator

Ideal for: Very viscous materials requiring high concentration

Concentration level can be achieved up to 65-83% Total Solids. The scrapper attached with a gear motor is an important part of this evaporator. Mainly used for Effluent, Horlicks mix, malt, and similar applications.

  • Optimizes thermal efficiency with mechanical scraping
  • Saves floor space with compact design
  • Achieves high concentrations of solids
  • Complies with strict international hygiene standards
  • Prevents fouling and ensures uniform heating

Wiped Film Evaporator

Features:

  • Higher heat flux due to more uniform film distribution
  • No fouling or dry spots on heating surface
  • High turbulence for improved heat transfer
  • Rapid surface renewal prevents product degradation
  • Applications: Refining of waste lube oil, purification, and solvent recovery

Agitated Thin Film Evaporator

Ideal for: Heat sensitive products requiring gentle handling

  • Short residence time - minimizes thermal exposure
  • Low product "hold up" - reduces waste
  • Heated surface is fully self-cleaning
  • Heating & Cooling available in single system
  • Perfect for pharmaceutical and specialty chemical applications

Rising Film Evaporator

Features:

  • High heat transfer co-efficient
  • Suitable for medium solid concentration
  • Energy efficient operation
  • Lower capital cost compared to other types

Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR)

Ultra High Energy Efficiency:

  • Reuses vapor energy by compression
  • Up to 90% reduction in steam consumption
  • Minimal environmental impact
  • Ideal for large capacity installations
  • Long-term cost savings through reduced energy bills

Batch Type Evaporator

Ideal for: Small batches and varied products

  • Flexible operation for different products
  • Easy cleaning between batches
  • Suitable for pilot plants and R&D
  • Cost-effective for small-scale operations

Multiple Effect Evaporating Plants

Advanced multi-stage evaporation systems for maximum efficiency

Multiple Effects Falling Film Evaporator

Used to concentrate distillery effluent up to 30-40% Total Solids. Optimized for energy efficiency through multiple effect operation.

Multiple Effects Forced Recirculation Evaporator

Used to concentrate distillery effluent up to 60% Total Solids. Higher concentration capability with forced circulation technology.

Combination System: Falling Film + Forced Recirculation

The Most Economical Solution:

Achieves concentration level of product up to 55% with less power consumption compared to pure forced recirculation evaporator.

  • Suitable to concentrate products from initial to 55% total solids
  • Economical and highly efficient operation
  • Low power consumption compared to standalone systems
  • Fouling problems at 45% TS overcome by forced recirculation at last stage
  • Features remedial measures to avoid sudden stoppage
  • Stand-by calandria with valve manifold for continuous operation
  • Can operate continuously for 6-8 months without shutdown
  • Includes pretreatment of effluent (clarification to remove inorganic salts)
  • Auto temperature, pressure, and flow control through PLC
  • Extended wetting rate for higher tube velocity

Applications Across Industries

  • Dairy Industry: Milk concentration, whey concentration, condensed milk production
  • Distillery: Spent wash concentration, effluent treatment, zero liquid discharge
  • Food & Beverage: Fruit juice concentration, sugar syrup concentration, extracts
  • Pharmaceutical: API concentration, herbal extract concentration
  • Chemical: Chemical solution concentration, waste treatment
